Monday - Thursday:
8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Arrival & Breakfast (Fueling the Mind!) "Word of the Day" & Reading Warm-up (Interactive vocabulary & comprehension exercises tailored to grade level)
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: STREAM Project Time (Integrated Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, & Math). Projects are designed around weekly themes and incorporate reading materials. Examples: Building a model bridge (engineering & physics), writing a story about a fictional planet (reading & creative writing), designing a board game based on a historical event (reading & social studies).
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Focused Reading Instruction (Small group, differentiated instruction focusing on phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary development. Utilizes age-appropriate texts and activities.)
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Break & Outdoor Activity (Games, nature…
